Overview

You will work as part of the Intensive Housing Management Team to ensure the effective delivery of an intensive housing management service to customers living in supported accommodation schemes and in dispersed properties. You will place a strong emphasis on income maximisation, administering rents and minimising arrears, in addition to basic health and safety compliance at all sites. This enhances the delivery of positive and psychologically informed living environments. This is a great opportunity for somebody wanting to progress as we grow and develop the Intensive Housing Management Team. For this role we are looking for somebody with empathy, who is organised, has excellent communication and negotiation skills, and has experience of working and presenting reports. Numeracy skills (for rent arrears and service charges), and a keen eye for detail is essential. Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and an understanding of the support needs and the issues facing our customers, and a full UK driving licence would be beneficial for this role. Forfutures is a new service within the Group, which has been set up to deliver the homeless support service in Cheshire West and Chester in partnership with the Council.Forfutures is supporting those who are at risk of being homeless, those without secure accommodation and people sleeping rough.As we develop and grow our services, we are looking for a Supported Housing Officer to work within our Accommodation Service.
