Data Scientist Central London £60,000 - £70,000 This is an exciting new opportunity for a Data Scientist to join a start-up tech company and make a massive impact THE COMPANY This Tech focused company are in the early start-up phase yet have excellent backing and funding so are keen to grow out their Data function. They focus on innovative smart charging so they'll be working with the most cutting edge technology and always coming up with new products and features. They are looking for Data Scientist to join and work alongside the Data Engineer so any Engineering experience would be great This is a completely Greenfield area for them so you'll have the chance to make a huge impact across customer analytics and Data Science THE ROLE As a Data Scientist for the business you will: To begin with it will be very customer focused so you will analyse customer behaviour, customer acquisition and campaign performance You will use Machine Learning techniques to generate insights using regression and segmentation techniques more specifically You will work towards using more AI focused and more advanced ML techniques as the Dat Science function grows You will work closely with the Data Engineer and ideally get involved in some of the Data Engineering responsibilities whilst the team grows SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong academic background in a relevant field An excellent understanding of customer analytics, segmentation, modelling and Machine Learning Data Engineering experience would be a benefit Tech: Python, SQL SALARY AND BENEFITS Basic salary £60,000 - £70,000 Benefits HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest for this role by sending your CV to Rosie O'Callaghan via the apply link on this page
