VENN GROUP Policy Manager Based in: London Length of contract: 4 months initially Rate: circa £190 Umbrella Inside IR35 A Central Government organisation is seeking a Policy Manager to be responsible for policies and projects across different business areas, with a global reach. Key Responsibilities: Project management, delivery of commercial projects and policy development Producing high quality written material, presenting to senior stakeholders and building wide stakeholder networks across the portfolio Delivering on a range of global engagement priorities Working with Senior Projects Lead and Senior Policy Manager to develop and deliver project plans, working within required timescales and budgets and to quality standards Managing the scoping, funding proposals, and delivery of global engagement projects, monitoring progress and alerting the senior team regarding any issues Managing the project reporting dashboards and highlight reporting Ideal Experience: Project Management qualification e.g. Prince, or equivalent experience Experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders conveying complex concepts and where challenge is likely Advanced keyboard skills, numerate, and highly competent user of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and other project orientated tools Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment with diverse stakeholder input Experience of managing a team and achieving objectives by working with others not under direct line management control Venn Group’s “Recommendation Scheme”: if you recommend a candidate who is subsequently placed by Venn Group (for a minimum of 2 weeks) you will be eligible for £25 worth of vouchers from a choice of high street organisations.
