Head of Quality Cambridge £100k-£120k (dep on exp) excellent benefits One of the UK`s most exciting high technology companies is looking for an experienced and driven Head of Quality to join their team. As the Head of Quality, you will apply your passion for detail and excellence to help execute the design and delivery of their ground-breaking medical devices. As a key member of the company's senior management team and reporting to the Operations Director, you will take a hands-on approach to leading the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality and Process Improvement functions; whilst working with the Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to deliver a truly world-class manufacturing process. his opportunity would suit an experienced Quality Manager/Director who has experience of driving up quality in a relevant industry, but with highly complex products. As the product is now in the market, the successful Head of Quality candidate will need to have experience of the next stage, keeping the products in market and scaling the business up for up-coming high demand This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Quality from an ultra-high quality, safety critical/highly regulated industry background to come into a superbly financed organisation and implement a world class Quality focussed environment making a real impact on the success of the entire business Requirements for Head of Quality: Extensive experience of leading a major quality function, including QMS, in a highly regulated environment (Ideally Medical Device but potentially Aerospace/Automotive/etc) Significant background in the day-to-day running of a quality function within a high-technology, high quality manufacturing business Ability to understand quality issues in a complex mechatronic system consisting of both high value/low volume and low value/high volume elements Candidates who have experience dealing with product recalls would also be of interest. Detailed understanding and experience of what it takes to ensure high quality product is produced by manufacturing and their outsource partners in a highly regulated environment. Good experience of mentoring and developing QA teams, having successfully led teams in the past A passion for continuous improvement and familiarity with the use of relevant techniques such as CQA, root-cause analysis, CAPA, Lean, Six Sigma, 8D etc. Our View: Every day for the Head of Quality will be different and that's the beauty of joining this rapidly expanding business; whilst working on revolutionary medical systems which are already saving lives worldwide Interest or know someone who might be?
