Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineering professional to take responsibility for all Civil Engineering aspect of new build residential projects from land acquisition to completion of projects. This is an office based role in luxury purpose built offices in a picturesque rural location. The successful applicant will build a team around them over the next 12 months and head up this team within a successful, cash rich, growing, privately owned, medium sized developer Duties will be varied but will include; Supporting the planning team with consultant shortlist, design advice, feasibility studies, drainage and utility enquiries. Review and provide comment on all technical reports including flood rick, geo environmental, topo and highway / transportation reports. Prepare internal engineering and utilities reports. During live projects you will manage consultants, attend design meetings, review and comment on engineering information such as service layout, sectional agreements, hard and soft landscaping and earthworks. You will liaise with highways and sewerage undertaker and manage and monitor progress of agreements and licences with solicitors. To be considered for the role you will have considerable experience in a similar role for a contractor or a developer. It would be preferred that you have a working knowledge of AutoCAD, although this will not form a considerable part of your role. In return you will be rewarded with an outstanding salary and package, you will be instrumental in developing an engineering team around you and will be considered for Directorship within 18 months.
