Engineering Supervisor – FMCG Environment Reference: Jo01556/CG/TJ Location: Doncaster Salary: £37,112 Pension Overtime Double Days Shift Pattern Monday-Friday DD Week 1 - 06:00-15:00 Week 2 - 15:00-24:00 45 hour week The Company An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the most secure food manufacturing groups in the UK . The plant near Doncaster has recently undergone an extensive investment plan in new machinery and processes and is one of the UK’s largest food processing manufacturing plants of its kind. They continue to expand, based on the reputation they have built for quality delivery of products they have become an extremely secure employer, in the North of England . Key Skills · Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering · Experienced in supervising engineer in FMCG/Food Manufacturing · Understanding of supervising PPM Systems The Role The ideal candidate will come from an electrical or mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with either bias but multi-skilled with fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked on PLC systems, it would be advantageous. Also, able and willing to work on packaging machinery, multivac machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work and other PPM manufacturing processes. The position will involve looking after a small team of mechanical and electrical engineers so experience in a similar role is vital. If the candidate is mechanical, then they will need to be at least 70/30 multi-skilled.
