Overview
Salary will be circa £ 42 K subject to experience. Doncaster Hours - Min 45 hours per week Mon – Fri with flexibility for extra hours, Double Day shifts. We are looking to strengthen and grow our team with the addition of an Engineering Supervisor. This will be a fantastic opportunity for any Engineering Supervisors who can lead by example by showing commitment to develop within the business. You must be able to take ownership and care for machinery ensuring downtime is minimised. You will be expected to work on weekends on a Rota basis to service machinery. A level of supervisory experience would be an advantage. Required Qualifications Qualified engineer to at least level 3 Ideally have 17 th /18 th edition qualification or be willing to undertake training toward. Experienced multi skilled engineer within food/FMCG Apprenticeship trained ideally Skills & Experience You will ensure that daily, weekly, monthly and other checks are completed and accurately recorded on Piranha Shire and filed. Planning & coordination of overhaul and maintenance tasks will play a big part in your duties as will be able to monitor and improve the efficiency of the machinery. You will liaise with Iqbal Production staff to minimise downtime, undertaking root cause analysis on all failures and break downs to increase plant availability. You will assist stores workers to identify critical spares and suitable suppliers. Assist in developing the planned preventative maintenance of all machinery, maintaining high service levels and a good standard of workmanship. Be able to maintain control of the engineering spend will be an important task. You will be prepared to undergo plant specific training as and when required. Work a varied shift pattern, covering production and non-production hours. You will monitor manning levels and holidays to ensure that there are enough engineering trades & machine minders to cover production and maintenance.
