2nd Line Technican

2nd Line Support Technician | £24,000 | Deeside | Construction and Property Your new company Operating nationwide, your new employers are leaders in the construction and property industry. Your new role As a Support Technician you will respond to all 2nd line issues, being the main point of contact for both software problems and hardware queries using SCCM. You will ensure the environment is up and running, carrying out any data updates, cleansing, restores and performance monitoring. You will work with the team administering the VMware and SAN. Additional daily tasks include; on site server builds, PC/ Laptop builds, security updates and ad-hoc regional offer visits. Currently in the process of migrating to a .NET environment. What you'll need to succeed Must have a strong track record working in a 2nd line Support Technician role and be a confident user of SCCM and VMWare. Competent in building and updating PCs and laptops, as well as server builds and security updates. Having knowledge of SQL will enable you to hit the ground running, as will having experience of working in a Microsoft environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with users will is important. What you'll get in return A salary of £24,000-28,000 (D.O.E), 24 days annual leave per annum plus 8 bank holidays - which increase with long service. Ability to buy or sell up to 3 days. Optional Healthcare scheme, company pension contribution up to 7% and an annual bonus based on your basic salary. Working 37 hours a week Monday- Friday; flexible working policy available. Ad-hoc out of office hours work is required, where updates are scheduled.
