Brief role description – Maintenance Engineer: We are supporting our client who are a successful plastics manufacturer, in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team. Overview of position: · Applicants must have electrical bias and possess a knowledge of PLC’s, hydraulics and pneumatics · Whilst the experience of plastic injection moulding machines would be an advantage it is not essential as we favour positive work ethics and shared company values over experience. · The role involves maintaining the production machinery, carrying out general maintenance and repair throughout the factory and working as part of a flexible, service-focused support team to the business · The ideal candidate will be reliable, enjoy troubleshooting and have a genuine can-do attitude. They should be able to prioritise work so that repairs are resolved quickly with minimal downtime; note we would consider an applicant part-way through their apprenticeship who can readily demonstrate these qualities.
