Job Title - Commercial Combined Underwriter Contract - Permanent Salary - GBP25,000 - GBP32800 Location - Leatherhead Industry - Insurance Our client - a leading UK based MGA are being proactive in recruiting a skilled Commercial Underwriter for their specialist Commercial Combined office in Surrey. Responsibilities: - Writing business for Petrochemical client markets, you will join a team of experienced Underwriters assuming personal duties in underwriting renewals and MTAs for Commercial Combined risks at SME/Mid-level. - Dealing with a broad range of Brokerages within the UK you will be focused also on developing these broker relationships offering continued underwriting support. Risks will predominantly be Property and Liability/Casualty led and the rating of risks will predominantly be via traditional manual calculations with lots of negotiation Experience/Personal Attributes: - Minimum of 3-5 years of rating and underwriting Commercial insurance risks, from within an Insurer, MGA or Delegated Authority Brokerage environment. - A positive individual who can being energy and drive into the team.
