Overview

The client, a large and supply chain business, are looking for a Supply Chain Accountant do the accounting for the supply chain side of the business. They are based in the West End (Paddington) and they are looking for a candidate with approximately 2-3 years working for a company's supply chain side. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with BILL OF MATERIALS, and will have previous experience working for an SME. Client Details The client specialise in the manufacturing and production of a very specific retail product, and they are based in the West End (Paddington). They are an SME, however they have a large turnover of about (£50 million) and they're looking for a new (permanent) Supply Chain Accountant. The role would be reporting directly into the Finance Manager, and there is a real potential for progression in the role. Description The successful candidate will be doing: The bill of materials Assisting the supply chain section of the business from a finance perspective Assisting with the production of the Monthly Management Accounts Balance sheet reconciliations, Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed Asset register maintenance Stock control, analysis and reconciliations Variance analysis on the P&L Assist with the year-end statutory accounts Profile The successful Supply Chain Accountant will: Have approximately 3 years experience in a similar role Have previous experience working with the bill of materials Have previous experiences working alongside the supply chain side of a business Previous industry experience (Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Food and Beverage, Retail - MUST be on the supply chain side of the business from a finance perspective) Previous experience using the system Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred, not essential) Good Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Summifs) Job Offer £40,000 - £50,000 Additional benefits
