Overview
Role - Automation Engineer Location – Sandy, Bedfordshire Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) A global leading company are looking for an in-house Automation Engineer familiar working on programming automated machinery for distribution using various PLC’s and getting involved with system commissioning within the UK and globally. Desirable Skills/ Experience: Qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering ideally (HNC/ HND/ NVQ/ Degree) System Commissioning experience Previous exposure to working with PLCs such as Allen Bradley, Siemens (Logix and TIA) SCADA (Wonderware) programming Systems Integration experience Experience in working with conveyors for Food & Beverage Industries Key Skills/ Experience: Being involved in the programming of systems Experience with Wonderware PLC & SCADA Programming Testing and commissioning Screen in house testing Working efficiently & effectively Benefits: 25 Days paid holiday Bank Holidays Salary Progression If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
