Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Central London office of this progressive and forward- thinking international firm for an accomplished Tax Senior Manager to undertake an advisory focused Partner Designate position within their burgeoning tax department. The firm have formed a very strong reputation within the owner managed business arena and pride themselves on their dynamic and entrepreneurial approach with their clients. They aim to grow as a firm and are keen to recruit individuals whose ambitions mirror their own. The position is a mixed tax role, embracing a mix of personal and corporate tax, and will involve a range of assignments which includes: Responsibility for tax planning and advisory work for a portfolio of clients Identifying opportunities and working with clients Dealing with ad-hoc queries from the general practice partners and the tax compliance teams Assisting the Tax partners with the implementation of projects Assisting the Tax Partners with ad-hoc advisory work ATED advisory and compliance work Trust register compliance work Following established procedures for workflows Dealing with tax enquiries Conducting with tax enquiries Supervision of junior staff members and managing certain compliance tasks Conducting technical research Interacting with partners and fellow staff in a technical staff in a technical capacity Ideally, you will be CTA qualified and ACA or ACCA and possess a strong tax background with knowledge of managing the compliance process, have experience in personal and corporate tax, an understanding of tax regimes and experience in dealing with non-domiciles and offshore trust regimes.
