Overview

Front End Developer (React / JavaScript) – Birmingham or Remote worker Leading fintech, founded in the early 1980’s, offices across the UK. They build investment, risk and wealth management software platforms and apps. They are seeking to hire an experienced React Developer to compliment a team of front end React / JavaScript developers working out of their Birmingham offices and region. For this role, you do have the option to work remotely if preferred, if you live within a reasonable commute to their Birmingham office. Required skills/experience 3-5 years’ experience building responsive web applications Advanced knowledge of React/Redux Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals An engineering mindset with an understanding of modularity, testability, scalability, etc. An appreciation for the importance of unit testing and experience with modern testing tools (Jest, enzyme, Cypress, etc) A keen eye for design and a passion to create beautiful UIs that are accessible and intuitive Strong communication skills both verbal and written Desirable skills/experience Angular 1.x TypeScript/Flow Micro-frontend experience Experience in design systems/reusable component libraries Salary: £45,000 annual Bonus Other Benefits: Private Healthcare Scheme, Healthcare Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme, Pension Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme, Death in Service Benefit, Monthly Entertainment Allowance Working Hours: 35 hours per week worked with one hour for lunch.
