Overview

Mobility Aids - Support Volunteer Location: Unit B2 The Fleming Centre, Fleming Way, Crawley Shifts available: We are interested in applicants who can commit to volunteering a few hours a week on any weekday (daytime Monday to Friday) on a regular basis. Afternoons preferred but not essential. This is an ongoing vacancy but we can consider a short commitment (3-6 months). Come and join our friendly team based in Crawley and support your local community We provide people in your community with wheelchairs on a short-term basis. Our support volunteers provide administrative support and/or assist with delivering the service. Your time will help keep people in your community stay independent by accessing a wheelchair. Activities include: Arranging wheelchair deliveries and collections. Communicating with the service uses to advise their equipment is due for return, and to extend the loan or hire if appropriate. Assisting with the promotion of the service. Undertaking basic office administration.
