Date added: 12-May-2020 Location: Winchester, HAM, GB Company: Shared Services Partnership Job Title: Intelligence Support Supervisor - HC31817 Location: Mottisfont Court, Winchester Salary: Scale SO2, 31,875 - 33,732 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Permanent Closing Date: Monday 15th June 2020 at 23.59 hours Are you looking forward to a new challenge? The successful candidate will provide a range of core specialist support and ensure all systems are correctly managed in accordance with manufacturers, force and national guidelines. Key Accountabilities but not limited to: 1. Responsible for the First line supervision for the Central Intelligence Desk, International Desk (currently Foreign National Offender Co-ordinator, International Liaison officer) and the Internet Intelligence Unit. 2. To develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders and partners within ITD and externally such as ICT Training, RMS Business Support, Neighbourhood Policing, promoting good practice and raising the profile of your teams. 3. To provide operational oversight on internal and external intelligence requirements arising from the NCA and other LEA, such as, protest activity, and other contemporary high risk issues. 4. Implement systems and processes in areas of specialism such as Internet Intelligence, ANPR and Foreign National Offending. 5. To deliver effective performance, identifying learning and development opportunities across the force for continuous improvement and service delivery in line with Force/PCC priorities. Essential Experience * To be computer literate. * Knowledge and understanding of relevant law, criminal investigations and criminal justice processes. * Experience working under pressure, which includes handling complex, confidential and sensitive data. Essential Qualifications Educated to QCF Level 4 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
