Overview

Adecco are proud to be working with a fantastic company based in Edenbridge looking for an experienced Assembly Assistant to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to be responsibility for manufacturing and assembling our clients product in accordance with the company's work instructions and procedures. The operator will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling products to a high quality. The operator is responsible for producing work & testing per the work instructions where available, and any changes must be made and authorised through your Manager. The operator will be responsible for picking and recording components where necessary, over consumption of parts to ensure costing and stock accuracy, and reporting failures and substandard work. The operator will be responsible for the quality and testing of their own work, and others if called upon. The operator must be mindful of their own Health & Safety at all times, and mindful of those around them in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy. The operator is responsible for keeping a clean and tidy environment, stock, components and tools. Putting things back as found being mindful for the next person that uses it. The operator must be thoughtful of the environment, recycling where possible in accordance to the company's ISO14001 certification & "Know your Aspects" handbook. The Operator may be asked to perform duties not immediately within their remit, and within reason. We expect all employees to perform these tasks, with the due care and diligence they would their own job. The person must be punctual and if for some reason cannot be, must report this to their Manager at the earliest possible time.
