RoleSummary: Baker Hughes is currently seeking an ARMO Technician - Electro-Mechanical to be based within our Portlethen facility in Aberdeen. Reporting to the AMO Supervisor, the main purpose of this role is to maintain, repair and modify downhole and auxiliary equipment used in regional operations in the North Sea and in wider geographic areas. EssentialResponsibilities: + Carries out all requiredresponsibilities safely in accordance with company Health and Safetyguidelines + Maintains, repairs andmodifies downhole tool electro/mechanical and hydraulic assemblies both inthe workshop and on location with minimum of supervision. + Provides technicalassistance to operations as needed. + Maintains records andcommunications as required by Maintenance Supervisor + Maintains current technicalstatus by attending training courses and by self-study. + Participates actively inquality improvement efforts associated with logging equipment and systems Qualifications/Requirements: + Technical Diploma inElectro-Mechanical discipline or other relevant experience + Experience in working onhydraulic and electro/mechanical equipment in a relevant industry + Ability to read andinterpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists andfollow formal procedures and maintenance practices. + Proficient in the use ofmultimeters, megohmmeters, measurement and gauging equipment + Background working withdownhole tools is desired but not essential DesiredCharacteristics: + Valid driving licence + Proficient in English (Oraland written) + Ability to satisfy allregulatory requirements + Willingness to workaccording to schedules assigned by management + Excellent attention todetail + Excellent CommunicationsSkills Locations: Portlethen, Aberdeen, Scotland This is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organization.
