Senior Cost Manager & Senior Project Manager Salary up to £45K car allowance company benefits Cardiff Office - Penarth , CF64 1SA My client are seeking for both an experienced Project Manager and Cost Manager to join their Cardiff office who comes from a consultancy background, ideally RICS and has experience with NEC contracts, major utilities (WATER) or infrastructure projects. My client are seeking for both an experienced Project Manager to join their Cardiff and Swansea offices - ideally from a consultancy background, working or accredited with RICS and has experience with NEC contracts, major utilities (WATER) or infrastructure projects. The Cardiff office provides cost and project management, project monitoring and Employers Agent services and taxation advice to a range of private and public sector clients across the United Kingdom. Recent expansion of their Infrastructure / Utilities team means that we are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager. Candidates must be degree qualified and be MRICS or MAPM qualified (or equivalent) or working towards attaining chartered status in the near future. Experience of fulfilling an Employers Agent role with JCT contracts and/or the Project Managers role using NEC3 contracts is essential, along with strong communication skills in a multitude of Client facing environments. The successful candidate will have strong leadership qualities and will be able to work as part of an integrated team on a range of projects. They will be confident working under pressure and to strict deadlines with minimal supervision. Candidates must demonstrate a track record (supported by relevant references) of personally managing projects ideally up to £20m and working as part of a team on projects in the range £5m to £40m. _________________________________________________________________________________________ The role of Senior Cost Manager involves carrying out valuations, budget evaluation and control, agreement of target costs, benchmarking, risk analysis and management. Other responsibilities include monthly reporting, auditing and final accounts. You will be working in a collaborative environment, therefore good communication and negotiation skills are essential. Excellent technical knowledge and experience within the civil engineering and water industry is essential. Candidates must be degree qualified and have a detailed knowledge of NEC3 contracts.
