Overview
Fantastic new opportunity for a Design Manager to join an innovative, multinational building services contractor on a permanent basis in Slough. Our client has recently landed a major datacenter project valued at £150 million and are looking for a Design Manager to oversee the whole design package including civil engineering, architecture and M&E. M&E is the largest part of this project, and so candidates with significant building services experience will be the priority. As well as doing a significant amount of datacentre work, our client spans all aspects of building services, including healthcare, life sciences and other technologies. As this is a permanent position, there will be a lot of opportunity once the datacentre project is over. Essential Requirements: Proven track record of successfully working on major M&E projects Previous experience working in a design management role Ideally experience managing datacentre projects in the past. Experience working as a MEP sub-contractor Extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the design consultancy environment and delivery of design Good organisational skills, confident prioritising work in a high pressure environment Enthusiastic team player, excellent interpersonal and communication skills To apply for this position you must be eligible to work in the UK without Visa restrictions.
