Overview

Contract Manager - Fire Location: Ealing Hours per week: 35 PAYE:£20.06 Start: 16th March 2020 End date: 12-week contract To be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing and/or renewal of Fire Safety Systems and/or Equipment. To Contract manage the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) Remediation Programme to include complex repairs, minor projects and interdepartmental coordination. To manage all the operational, regulatory and/or statutory compliance in respect of all Fire Safety Systems and/or Equipment Systematically and efficiently manage the FRA Remediation Programme and Fire Safety Systems and/or Equipment budget(s), attending regular performance and financial review meetings, evaluating compliance and conformity and provide KPI's, operational performance and financial reports on a monthly basis and/or as required. Ensure FRA actions tracking systems/ databases are kept up to date at all times so that accurate progress reports can be produced. Respond to all resident and internal department calls and/or requests for assistance and/or information. Liaise with the Contractor(s), Consultant(s), and all other Operations Directorate departments as required to ensure all works are managed and completed in accordance Liaise with the Fire and Rescue Service, responding to all formal notices and requests for information, specific building information, servicing records etc. Maintain and update the all contract documentation including asset information Post-inspect a targeted proportion of work undertaken by contractor(s) to ensure the required standards in respect of quality, financial and works programmes are achieved or bettered, and to take appropriate action standards are not achieved. Provide appropriate feedback to continuously improve the service. To travel as required to carry out condition inspections, risk assessments and report the findings to enable satisfactory resolution to be achieved. Maintain an effective knowledge of current regulations, and to have an awareness of imminent changes to these regulations and their likely impact(s). To support residents who are vulnerable, unhappy with contractor(s) work, or who otherwise need pro-active intervention to ensure a satisfactory outcome. To take handover of properties from development; help deal with complex latent defect issues and provide appropriate feedback to improve standards for future projects.
