Senior Network Architect (MSP / Managed Service Provider Sector) Manchester / Remote £85k base £20k Bonus Benefits - 3 days per week from home Description Are you a SENIOR Technical Architect working for a Managed Service Provider seeking a fresh challenge in the new year but want a role sat in SD-WAN and Cutting edge Cloud Core Networking topologies ??- Base salary £85k £20k bonus great benefits working remotely for 3 days a week ? – Then read on – My customer is one of the UK’s elite SD-WAN Consultancies, offering a nimble, personable & agile service accompanied by a network product approach to global enterprise scale end customers. Working with cutting edge SD-WAN and Programmable networking cloud focussed network & security solutions you own and drive the architecture landscape from start to finish. CCIE/CCNP is ideal – strong focus on Core Networking, R&S, MPLS, BGP, QoS, OSPF etc, Security, Cyber, Firewalls etc – HLD/LLD You will have:- Networking & Security background (ie Networking, Security, SD-WAN etc.) Networking/Security skills base with extensive project or engineering experience in networking competencies Experience of enterprise LAN and WAN, wireless, of Firewall technologies, next generation Firewall technologies Experience of routing, switching and security technologies within multitennant and data centre environments to a high level Experience of completing low level and high-level designs, following full technical pre-sales and project life cycle MSP/ISP specific experience around support, projects and technical pre-sales processes ITIL Foundation (preferred) Further more you will be responsible for achieving success by implementing and delivering high quality, supportable, technical project solutions that delight our customers. Maintain close, sensitive and long-term working relationships with key customers’ acting as a trusted advisor. Technical design, build, testing and transitioning into live service of networking, security and managed service solutions. This includes controlling the utilization and configuration of solution hardware, licenses, professional services budgets and services. Provide ‘technical authority’ for pre-sales proposals. Submit content or validate content for high level designs for peer review. Peer review designs from other peers and colleagues with critical/positive appraisal. Technical business consultancy services and engagement, acting in a vendor agnostic manner, assessing and analysing client business needs and helping defining solutions to problems and a clear roadmap for the transformation journey.
