Opportunity for a Surveyor with housing maintenance experience to join a busy team in Devon Your new company As a Maintenance Surveyor you will join a busy housing maintenance team based in the Devon region. Your team is responsible for the delivery of planned programmes of works alongside day to day responsive repairs for over 4500 homes located in the Devon region. Your new role As a Maintenance Surveyor you will become an expert in the identification of structural defects in residential properties. Your role will involve identification of defects and provision of advice associated with the repair. You'll raise works requests and supervise contractors, ensuring they complete works to the highest standard and within the required budget. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in your new long term interim position you'll need to have an excellent understanding of structural issues and defects within residential property. Ideally, you'll have residential maintenance experience and be confident in the management of tenants and building occupants. What you'll get in return In return you'll receive an initial contract or up to six months in duration which is highly likely to extend further. You'll also receive an hourly rate of pay which is payable on a PAYE basis or via an umbrella company.
