Asset manager, RICS chartered surveyor, lease renewals, rent reviews Your new company With a varied portfolio of properties to manage in East London, this public sector organisation are now looking to expand their existing team of General Practice Surveyors. Their property portfolio range from managing SME's rentals to high end industrial and retail parks. They also manage corporate buildings and residential blocks. The wide range of properties makes this a very interesting place to work. Their main offices are based very close to the local train and bus stations, which makes it a very commutable location. This is an on-going contractual job which will be extended beyond the initial 3 month period. Your new role Management of Corporate Property, Industrial/Retail parks as well as small to medium sized business rentals. You will be responsible for lettings, lease renewals and rent reviews as part of you day to day responsibilities. What you'll need to succeed It is essential that you can demonstrate your knowledge of lease renewals and rent reviews. You will need to have a high level of understanding of legislation and a good understanding of current market values. Experience of dealing with developers and landlords will enhance your application. Being a RICS qualified chartered surveyor is desirable but it is not an essential requirement for this job. If you have experience of the above, you will be considered for the job irrespective of RICS membership. It is also highly desirable to have either direct Local Government or Public-Sector experience.
