Overview
HR Business Partner An immediate role has arisen to cover maternity leave (9 months initially) working for an innovative tech company based in Manchester. This global company, who operate in over 90 countries are truly market leading in what they do. It is a 'standalone' HR role which will require someone who is knowledgeable, credible and happy to operate in both a strategic and transactional basis. Strong ER experience is essential and lots of senior stakeholder management expertise. The position will report into the HR Director who will be based off-site, so this brilliant opportunity will suit someone who thrives in responsibility. Previous Global experience will be a distinct advantage but not essential. What will the role involve? You will provide HR support to the Global Operations Centre which consists of approximately 200 hundred employees. You will work with the management teams contributing to functional business plans and supporting the development and execution of people plans. You will ensure the support the local execution of global HR processes such as talent management, performance management and compensation review working closely with functional HR Business Partners. Furthermore you will lead the people elements of business change projects and support and coach managers to ensure they get the best from their teams. The centre is a diverse and dynamic environment, as such you will also have a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding of new employees, as well as the cultural development of the company. Partner with people managers at the site to determine people priorities and ensure the organisation capability, structure and culture are in place to drive the achievement of functional business goals Work closely with the recruitment team to plan and execute recruitment in line with the project plan. Work with the recruitment team to identify new sourcing channels as required and create talent pipelines for future needs. Support the onboarding processes for all new joiners, including working with the relocation provider to ensure smooth onboarding for international transfers and relocations. Work with local management to ensure the working environment at the centre is aligned with the company purpose & values and drives high performance and strong employee engagement. Coach and advise managers on all aspects of people management, including organisational design, cultural change and people development. Provide feedback and coaching to help develop their leadership capability Take accountability for the local execution of performance management, compensation review and talent management ensuring outputs are fed into functional reviews Provide expert HR advice and ensure that all people activities and processes are managed in line with the company policy, as well as local regulations and standards Be accountable for HR compliance in line with local regulations and work with relevant unions to ensure alignment with local collective agreements. Partner with the company's Business Services to ensure effective delivery of HR Operations (HR administration, payroll etc.) in local area Develop on going expertise in critical HR competencies and maintain awareness of external best practice Contribute to and lead as appropriate, local, country and regional HR projects, including organisational change projects The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following characteristics: Influencing skills Lead and manage change Global perspective Planning Execution and results orientation This is an immediate opportunity so if you feel you have the necessary skills and experience for this role AND you're able to start a contract without any notice, please send your CV to us today.
