Overview
A vacancy has just become available for a suitably qualified competition lawyer to join a leading global fast moving consumer goods company (FMCG) based in North West London. The legal counsel will be an expert in all antitrust / competition matters facing the business across several international territories. As a highly acquisitive company, you'll primarily be supporting M&A ventures, providing expert legal counsel, advice and interfacing with regulatory bodies. This exciting business operates in developed and undeveloped markets and as such the legal counsel will be dealing with matters where regulatory / competition law regimes are highly established but also within markets where the law is thin and underdeveloped so a robust understanding and application will be required. The legal counsel will be operating in a highly commercial and transactional function, supporting deal teams, interfacing with competition / antitrust regulators and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
