Overview

A small Building Services consultancy based a few minutes' walk from Birmingham Snow Hill station are looking for an Senior Electrical Design Engineer to oversee the workload in the Birmingham office due to a new office opening in Oxford. This consultancy has plans to grow the team over the next 12 months. Duties and Responsibilities: This position is for someone who has experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in the Building Services Industry • As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing all workload of the Electrical side of the designs. • Detailed design of Electrical Services using various software's • Carrying out design calculations - both manually and computer techniques • Site Surveys • Have strong client facing skills to attend meetings and deal with stakeholders. Requirements for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer: • You will previously have worked in a Building Services Consultancy or Contractor as an Senior Electrical Design Engineer or an Electrical Design Engineer • ONC/HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering • High experience of working with AutoCAD and design software's such as Amtech, Trimbl, Dialux and Relux In Return: • The role as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on permanent basis with regular salary reviews based on merit and a clear line for progression • Competitive salary and package which equates to £45,000 Package • Flexitime • Private Medical scheme • On site car parking If you know of anyone who you feel maybe suitable for this role we would welcome a personal or professional referral.
