Mechanical Design Engineer Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with a heavy Mechanical Engineering background? Are you looking to take on a very varied and challenging role and be an integral, senior part of the team? Are you looking to join a friendly organisation that have recently added several new products to the product line? If so, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis for a company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture of bespoke mechanical equipment for a variety of different industries (Oil and Gas, Power generation etc.)to take on a Senior role within the team to take responsibility for design through to sign off of a variety of heavy duty mechanical equipment. Essential Requirements / Experience: · Must have a minimum of 5 years experience · Must have a heavy Mechanical Engineering background (EG: Oil and Gas, Petrochemical etc.) · The successful candidate will have solid core design skills with proven experience in a Senior Engineering position with a minimum of 5 years’ experience · Proficient with a 3D CAD Package (Any package is suitable) Mechanical Design Engineer Salary and Benefits · Competitive annual salary £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (Flexible dependant on experience level) · Pension Scheme · Personal Progression and Career Development Opportunities · Based in Hale, Timperley and Broadheath Mechanical Design Engineer The Role · As a Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for the technical design of bespoke mechanical equipment using any 3D CAD package · This going to be varied role where you are not restricted, ultimately looking for someone to take on a senior role within the team to take on responsibility · New product design, manage design processes for new and existing products range · Generating design calculations, FEA /CFD (This experience isn’t essential) · Creating Bills of Material (BOM’s), carrying out all engineering work to meet order requirements If you are an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with an a heavy Mechanical Engineering, background looking to join a global design and manufacturing firm working on bespoke mechanical equipment for a variety of different industries, please apply now.
