Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payments Officer within a Local Authority based in East London. It is paying £13 p/h PAYE. KEY DUTIES; 1. Provide an efficient and effective comprehensive payments service on behalf of the Council and other third party organisations, through: a. The raising of creditors on both an ad hoc basis and on a recurring basis b. Receiving and responding to correspondence from creditor and other Council departments and resolving any queries. 2. Support the collation of data and information to enable the forecasting of social care packages and any other spend types where payment data is requested.
