Overview

A highly successful international property business seeks a Project Manager to join the business on a 12 month fixed term contract to facilitate a large office move. You will have demonstrable experience in leading complex office moves in the UK including contact centres, and customer support functions. You will have a blend of broad project management delivery knowledge including IT, change management, and strong stakeholder management skills at all levels. Role Requirements : Work closely with the CTO and Executive Committee in planning and managing the business transition, physical fit out, and relocation of people, IT infrastructure, and equipment to a new site Support the delivery of the overall relocation strategy including a detailed relocation plan for each department impacted by the relocation to minimise any disruptions to business operations Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the quality criteria, on time and within budget Responsible for the co-ordination and management of all move and relocation related activities, including any reinstatement works to the existing office Management and overall responsibility of all outsourced key providers and sub-contractors, and to source any better alternative (if required) Required to travel to other office sites (including London) Ensure that realistic project, sub-project and quality plans are prepared and maintained Track all activities against the plans providing regular and accurate reports to senior management, as appropriate Liaise with project sponsors and other managers within the business managing expectations for project and facilitating program communication Ensure that comprehensive project quality and risk plans for projects of a complex nature are prepared and maintained Understand the requirements of assignments by ensuring that assumptions are challenged, technical proposals are tested, and business requirements validated with a view to obtaining the best result for the company Ensure that IT (and other) internal resources are made available to undertake the agreed infrastructure projects and that such resources are properly utilised and accounted for Skill-set and Experience : Previous experience of managing a contact/call-centre/shared services move within the UK Previous experience of managing a variety of complex and large office moves within UK Ability to deliver change projects covering technology and people Property / building move / fit out experience Experience of providing the drive, knowledge and know-how to work with the Property, Legal, HR and IT functions, as well as key external stakeholders, to drive forward an urgent office move Ability to read and analyse floor plans/drawings/Space View Strong project management and organisation skills Proven analytical, statistical reporting and forecasting skills Ability to read and analyse drawings, plans, schedules, schematics A strong awareness of health and safety Exemplary collaboration skills - with an ability to work collegially and cross functionally to ensure the successful delivery of the office move project Successfully multi task a variety of moving parts and responsibilities Evidence of being a results-driven, committed individual, with the ability to self-motivate
