Payroll & Finance Assistant - Overview We are thrilled to be representing an innivotive growing business in Manchester. As Payroll officer and Finance Assistant you will be a highly competent finance professional with a strong record of meeting deadlines as well as having an understanding and experience within a wider finance team. For this role you will need experience of working internally and in particular experience of calculating sales bonus is vital. You will have up to date knowledge of statutory payroll processes, strong time management and a methodical approach. Competent IT skills will be required along with effective communication skills, a flexible approach and working as part of a team. Payroll & Finance Assistant - The Role Collating and processing employees pay information from relevant departments. Maintaining and managing holiday information updating records Building and maintaining commission trackers Performing integrity checks on commission and bonus submissions Process payroll across the various entities Answering staff queries regarding pay, any deductions or other relevant queries Handling queries from external bodies P32 submission and payment Completing various payroll reports for management and Finance team Updating and acting as main point of contact with pension providers Uploading and payment of pensions contributions within agreed time frames with Pension provider Deduction reports to be produced monthly Preparing salary journals monthly Transactional accounts duties and cover for other members of the team Payroll & Finance Assistant - The Person Good working knowledge of the end to end Payroll process Good understanding of the accounts process and deadlines involved Competent communication skills (both written and verbal) Confident liaising with senior management SAGE Accounts/Payroll experience Excellent Excel Skills A methodical working practice to ensure complete and accurate data entry Familiar with benefits and deductions Ability to multitask and prioritise Forward thinking and adaptable, willing to help other members of the team Honest approach to work and ability to work as part of a team DESIRED QUAZLIFICATIONS AAT qualified / QBE BENEFITS 98% of our Team Leaders are from internal promotions, and our individual growth opportunities reflect our growth as a business; fast and full of possibilities Perkbox Health Cash Plan Discounted Gym Membership Enhanced Pension Annual Personnel Training Allowance Company Share Scheme Company social events and all-inclusive parties Enhanced Holiday Discounted Parking
