We have a brand new opportunity for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our evolving Developer team supporting the IT Development Manager with the technical design and development capability for the organisation. The Senior Salesforce Developer will be a key role within the team and you will be a subject matter expert for all things Salesforce as well as being a technical and behavioural role model to the wider Developer team. We have an open and collaborative working culture at The Nottingham and you’ll be supported in your new role by our superb IT Development Manager…. we’re happy to talk flexible working too This is an exciting role, here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Senior Salesforce Developer… •Deliver high quality solutions seamlessly which meet the requirements from the business and functional specifications •Carry out the analysis and resolution of user or operational problems and affect the necessary changes, which demand a high knowledge of the system and processes •Work collaboratively with our Technology and Change teams to ensure high quality, successful outcomes •Maintain and update complex programs/processes within their computer system, and their test plan and testing must be comprehensive to ensure a high quality result •Actively contribute to the drive for continuous improvement in system development •Deputise in the absence of the IT Development Manager and lead by example and contribute to the knowledge base for the department Your skills - •Significant technical knowledge and proven experience working as a Salesforce Developer •Awareness of current techniques and best practice used in the development lifecycle and change management skills •A logical thinker having a high problem solving capability •Ability to work collaboratively, engaging colleagues and leading by example on a daily basis •Have experience of the latest web frame works, building salesforce communities •Have experience of building apex code •Have experience of connecting salesforce with other business operational systems •Knowing when to configure, when to build •Have knowledge of release management tools such as Copado or Jenkins •Have worked in a Scrum environment •Have used TDD to build functionality The Nottingham, who are we?
