(Please call to discuss) We are looking for an experienced broadcast software architect to join our clients team to work on BNCS customer engagements and deployments. Broadcast Domain Knowledge Baseband video and audio principles Intercom system functionality IP video/audio systems and related standards RF and satellite systems Processing device functionality Infer system design and behaviour from schematics and equipment manuals Basic broadcast device configuration: vision/sound mixer, multiviewer, processing devices History of manufacturers and product evolution Control System Knowledge Device interface and remote control Configuration modelling System architecture including virtualisation and networks User interface design and visual asset creation Experience Design and delivery of broadcast control solutions ideally using BNCS but could be using equivalent platform e.g. VSM or Cerebrum MCR, Satops and Playout operation Major live event working Technical Skills Software development: C++, .net C#, javascript, web frameworks, REST Source control management: Git, SVN Data modelling: SQL, couchdb, Excel Diagram and schematic creation: Visio Virtual and cloud infrastructure management Communication Skills Host requirements and design workshops Prepare minutes and notes Create design documents Author system specifications Team leadership Trade show presentations This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89940522
