Overview
Senior Sitecore Developer required to act as SME for a superb Technology company based in Cambridge. The base salary is circa £60,000 - £70,000 plus superb Bonus Schemes & Benefits Package. This major international Technology corporation in Cambridge is expanding their Sitecore capabilities through the recruitment of a Senior Sitecore Developer who will play a pivotal role in guiding their Sitecore solutions as the technical SME. With the focus on providing the business with platforms that gives them control in delivering superb digital experiences for their customers and colleagues alike, the Senior Sitecore Developer will drive high quality engineering to deliver against a plan that provides the base for further business growth and great customer engagement. The Senior Sitecore Developer will have the opportunity to make a real impact for the business and help shape the growing Sitecore development team. Skills & Experience: Ideally 5 years Sitecore experience including version 9 Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred) Experience of deploying Sitecore PaaS applications is beneficial Proven experience with CI/CD using Team City, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy or similar tools Expertise in Web Technologies such as MVC.NET, Javascript, HTML5, React and Foundation/Bootstrap Good .NET skills including advanced programming techniques & methodologies Good communication skills with the ability to guide & influence others Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience with modern Sitecore technologies and features ie. SXA, JSS Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef and Cloud Formation. Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) approaches. Knowledge of search capabilities Experience working within Agile environments – Scrum or SaFe Responsibilities Summary: The Senior Sitecore Developer will be part of the next chapter of the company’s Digital transformation, capturing, distilling and translating complex visual designs and business needs into clean, usable and understandable solutions.
