Overview
Senior Service Delivery Manger (Traffic Management Systems) Birmingham £65,000 to £75,000 per year Excellent company benefits, incentives, bonuses, flexible-working, etc. The Opportunity: We are currently looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to assist our client, an international Intelligent Transport Systems provider, with the implementation and roll-out of a new, UK wide Traffic Management system. The platform will enable Highways England to manage motorway traffic in a safer and more efficient manner, utilising traffic control centres and a network of roadside assets. Skills and Experience: 5 years’ experience working in a senior Service Delivery Manager role Prior experience in the deployment of complex, large-scale systems for the public sector In-depth understanding and certifications in service management methodologies (ITIL V4, ServiceNow, etc.) Ability to manage senior level stakeholders and end clients Willing to travel and work with a team spread across the EU and USA Any experience working for an outsourced IT company would be beneficial Role and Responsibilities: Oversee the implementation of a complex traffic management system to be used on the UK motorway network Ensure the seamless integration of the system and develop “business as usual” processes Manage senior stakeholders based in the US and EU, ensuring there is an effective level of communication between key members Monitor and react to incidents and faults throughout the delivery lifecycle, adhering to the latest service management methodologies Roll out changes and configurations to the platform to maintain a high level of system effectiveness and availability Applications: To learn and understand more about this role working as a Senior Service Delivery Manager working across Traffic Management Systems; please contact James Sample here at ISR Recruitment on 07436 071 269 or please share a copy of your CV or online profile for a call back in the strictest confidence.
