IT Manager Milton Keynes £32,000 - £42,000 Package The Role: This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing and evolving manufacturer that sells its solutions across the globe. We are looking for an IT superhero that is used to wearing many hats, and someone that has a can-do attitude; one that is willing to help and take on challenges as and when they arrive. The role focuses on you leading the IT services and systems development projects to transform or transition current and new IT systems. The main aspects of the role are to manage the existing IT systems in place, these include the networks, hardware and software in the commercial departments, as well as factory-floor based systems and applications. This includes installations and maintenance of all hardware and software, liaising with external partners where necessary, along with IT support and training of all users, both on site and external. You will also provide reports on systems support, installing and testing hardware and operating systems. You will be a superuser for all IT systems and associated databases The Candidate: Ideally, you will have a strong background in IT support and the management of an IT network, exposure to factory-based systems would be an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate that you have been a super user in at least one commercial MIS system in your career to date. You will be a problem solver by nature and be analytical and passionate about self-development. A qualification in 'IT infrastructure Library’ would be advantageous as would experience of any web programming languages such as HTML, PHP/My SQL, Javascript etc. A Driving License is essential due to the location of the business premises.
