Are you an experienced Digital Product Manager, Ecommerce Manager or Website Manager looking for a new contract? Do you have experience managing the re-platforming of an eCommerce Website? Do you have experience working with project management methodologies? Then this could be an exceptional opportunity for you The leading UK retailer is looking for a Digital Product Manager to join them for a 3-6 month contract to assist with the re-build/replatform of their eCommerce platform. This is part of a wider 18-month Digital transformation project to push them to the bleeding edge of eCommerce. The company is one of the top 10 eCommerce sites in the UK, in order to compete with larger companies in the space they have embarked on an 18-month project of change to streamline the business and make them the eCommerce site of choice for the UK consumer. The contract will be the central point of contact for the eCommerce replatform project. The role will manage the communication between the agency undertaking the work and the wider business acting as the customer experience guardian making sure project milestones are achieved such as achieving a faster website load rate and increasing the functionality of a complex site. As a Digital Product Manager - Ecommerce you will join our successful Digital Product Manager team based in their London offices and be responsible for: Supporting the Senior Product Manager scoping, planning and day-to-day involvement in the programme. Representing the customer and business needs within the agile scrum teams. Take ownership of existing features and functionality being migrated onto the new platform as well as looking for opportunities to unlock new features. Integration of back end services to support front end change Prioritising your own features/ideas within the programme as well as along with other product managers. Understanding and translating customer and business needs to guide the prioritisation of features within the programme. KPI driven – strong use of data in decisions (big or small). Working collaboratively in a cross-functional agile team working through the project cycle from conceptual states through to live, ensuring KPIs are delivered. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in eCommerce or Digital Product Management. You will need to bring strong project management skills and experience managing eCommerce as a Digital Product. Experience managing a dynamic agency environment is also a plus The Digital Product Manager - Ecommerce role requires the following experience: Skilled specialist in eCommerce, must have managed significant updates to a web or eCommerce site. Worked with and managed a technical agency to complete work Experience with Agile or another project management methodology is a plus Experience in working within a commercially oriented environment Customer-centric, think out of the box, and challenge status quo.
