Overview
A highly desirable East-London based Community Mental Health Team is looking for an experienced Senior Social Work Practitioner to join their integrated Community Mental Health service. An AMHP qualification is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervision of social work staff, nurses and for managing a small, but complex caseload. I am searching for a Senior Social Work Practitioner / AMHP who is able to start within 2-3 weeks. An excellent hourly pay rate of £34-£36 per hour (pending interview performance). Outstanding management support. Guaranteed long contract of 6-9 months, with a possiblity of extension. Your responsibilities as the Senior Social Worker / AMHP: To oversee a team of Social Workers and nurses Manage performance with KPIs. To provide supervision, training and feedback to staff. Deputise for the Team Manager when required. Management of a small, complex caseload. To represent the team in meetings with Senior management. To carry out statutory functions under the Mental Health Act 1983. Provision of support for people in crisis. Requirements of you as the Senior Social Worker / AMHP: A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW). Four years of experience within Mental Health Social Work. Two years of Senior Social Work experience. You must be able to start work within 2 weeks.
