An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join our Aylesford team in the capacity of Goods in and Out Team Leader. Here in Aylesford, we're proud to work with some high-profile clients, working to design and create innovative point of sale displays and promotional products for in-store merchandising. Reporting to the Goods in and Out Manager, you will support with the day to day operations of our warehouse function. As the Team Leader, you will have the responsibility for ensuring that the team is working as efficiently as possible in order to guarantee that an optimum level of service is maintained. As a Goods in and Out Team Leader, you will be responsible for: · Ensuring all goods in/goods out and received and dispatched correctly and safely · Supporting the business by supplying an outstanding level of service across the board · Utilising our vehicles as required; ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely fashion; providing drivers with clear instructions · Providing expert advice on best delivery methods · Liaising with production teams to ensuring all materials are transported around the business time a timely and cost-effective manner · Inspecting and recording details of all inward goods, carrying out content and safety checks · Liaising with various suppliers regarding booking requirements · Updating our internal systems with relevant information and supplying POD’s for finished goods · Complying with the company’s health and safety requirements; leading by example This opportunity presents an excellent platform for anyone who wishes to develop a career in operations management.
