Overview
A Quality Engineer is required for a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist manufacturing business within their Mansfield site. With a headcount of around 200 people, a turnover of approximately £50 million and being the leading and largest supplier into their industry, this is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to work in a business that is completely committed to continuously improving the quality of their products to their customers. Through product and process improvements, the Quality Engineer will been give autonomy to take ownership of, and manage the completion of projects designed to assist in ever increased customer satisfaction and continued growth. Due to high profits and business growth, this is a brand new position reporting to the Quality Manager. The Quality Engineer's duties and responsibilities will include: - Define and implement effective corrective actions including 8D reporting and root cause analysis - Fully support the ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System e.g. conduct internal audits and the equipment calibration system - Active involvement in improving existing and creating new visual management aids to include reviews of SOP's - Continuous Improvement activities to include engineering solutions to improve processes in respect of quality and efficiency - Perform team based FMEA exercises and manage the implementation of countermeasures - Support Health, Safety and Environmental policy and activities I am keen to speak to Quality Engineers with the following: - Experience as a Quality Engineer within a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Experience of quality control and inspection of products which have both aesthetic and functional key attributes - Attention to detail - Understanding of customer requirements - Team working ethos - Excellent communication skills - Experienced in working to ISO9001 Are you passionate about driving change in a business where Quality is the key to the business?
