JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer SALARY: £32,000-38,000 p/a LOCATION: Mansfield OVERVIEW: A leading global manufacturing company in the Aerospace, Defense and Energy industries / sectors in both the UK and around the globe, looking for a Quality Engineer to join the growing team. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Through the APQP methodologies, driving the team through preventative measures Participate in quality improvement activities such as system, product, company audits Sense of urgency with the ability to prioritise and focus to recognize Identify and investigate quality improvement strategies to contribute to export compliance strategy and plans, systems and timescales Ensure there is compliance with all external bodies (regulatory/industry/ customer etc.) PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience in Quality / Engineering Experience in Aerospace is desirable Knowledge of aviation regulations such as APQP, PPAP, AS9100 or ISO9001 Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma Bachelor / HNC / HND are preferred, previous experience will be considered Good knowledge of MS Office databases such as Word and Excel PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Interpersonal effectiveness: team building with good communication Drive for results, energy and a need to finish Persevere even in the face of setbacks and resistance Good observation, analytical and investigative skills EXPECTATIONS: Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization Must have an eye for detail & be highly organized Achieve business goals and objectives Comply to all standards within Quality such as APQP, AS9100 To Apply: Please forward your most up-to-date CV together with salary details or by calling Leah Roberts on 0161 694 9737. 3DOM Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
