Overview
We are recruiting for a motivated and experienced Bodyshop Manager to work for a very busy and successful car accident and repair centre based in the West Thurrock area, Essex. As a Bodyshop Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operations of a busy accident repair centre. You will be responsible for leading a team of Bodyshop staff including 2 estimators, workshop controller, team of painters/panel beaters - running 3 paint booths. You will work closely with the team to provide support, coaching and assistance to ensure the department staff members achieve targets and maximise volume and profitability whilst exceeding customer expectations. You will ensure the Department is managed professionally, ensuring health and safety requirements are adhered to and that the work is carried out to professional standards. Duties will include: Work with your team to ensure targets, plans and budgets are met To maintain excellent working relationships with insurance companies To provide reports on all activities with weekly forecasting & annual budgets Your experience/skills You must have experience managing in a Bodyshop Centre You must have knowledge of the body repair processes and safety procedure required for vehicles You will have proven leadership & managerial skills You will have strong business acumen with the ability to monitor the production process You will have good administration and IT skills You will have a full and valid UK Driving Licence Competitive salary plus car are on offer for this role.
