Overview
My client in London have requested that I find 2 x Liaison and Diversion officers (Mental Health Social Workers or Occupational Therapists) for their service. The function of Liaison and Diversion service is to conduct assessments of people going through the justice system and divert them to appropriate means of support. Excellent knowledge of Safeguarding and relevant Mental Health legislation is required. The successful Social Worker must be available within 3 weeks. I will only be able to reveal details of the client upon receipt of a CV. Please also note this position is almost entirely office-based. Your responsibilities as the Social Worker / Occupational Therapist: Completing assessments for clients with complex needs e.g. learning disabilities, physical disability and mental health. To be situated within a magistrates court. Conducting urgent safeguarding enquiries. Partnership working with other health professionals and authorities.
