Sterile Services Technician - Private Hospital Ashtead, Surrey Up to £21,500 Pension Scheme 33 Days Annual Leave more Full-time, Permanent Remit Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with an excellent Private Hospital in Ashtead, in their search for Sterile Services Technicians. The hospital one of Surrey's most highly respected, private, acute hospitals offering a variety of clinical procedures with a commitment to the highest standards of care. The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SST to work alongside the theatre team, to contribute to the highly professional, safe and dependable surgical services offered. This is a demanding role requiring professionalism, commitment and a flexible approach to work. You will be meticulous with attention to detail. This role is primarily worked on the shift patterns of 7am - 3pm or 10am - 6pm, with requirements to work alternate weekends. Generous overtime enhancements are offered in return for highly flexible and adaptable staff members. Requirements Previous experience working in a Sterile Supplies Unit is essential Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Demonstrated computer skills (particularly MS Office Package) Good written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business, which could include on call cover, evenings and weekends TVQ / NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Decontamination and Membership of IDSc would be desirable.
