The Company This business sit in a very unique space and have just secured a large amount of investment. Off the back of that investment they are now looking to move forward with a full transformation programme with all projects being completely Greenfield. They are based within a very accessible area of Central Manchester and are offering full flexible working. The Person This is a key hire for the business and you must be someone who embraces Agile and who can introduce this way of working to a new environment. The business are looking for a Lead Engineer who has delivered large scale Core Java projects and who also has full stack exposure. You must be someone who can demonstrate that you have led projects and people and have the mind-set of being a software engineering product innovator. The business are looking for someone who embraces technology and who has an active interest in tech communities. The Role You will be facing off with the CTO in regards to the strategic direction that the business takes with their transformation programme from a software engineering perspective. When the plans are formulated you will then be involved in the initial engineering phase as well as getting involved in building the team. This is a very rare and exciting opportunity to grow something that is going to be of great value.
