Creative Space Design and Build Ltd, a design and build project management specialist based in London are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our expanding projects team and provide the necessary support to the Senior team members. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to gain further experience in project management and join a busy and fast pace office environment. Key requirements: Some experience in the residential construction environment and understanding of construction processes. A good level of organisation and an ability to execute a number of tasks in succession in order to fulfil the requirements set out for each project. Excellent interpersonal skills; the role requires someone who can communicate effectively and assist the project manager in communications between build teams, external contractors and clients. The right candidate must be proficient with MS office and MS project and have a good level of computer literacy. An ability to assist on multiple projects and work on various different levels - communicating between architects, build teams and clients. Role description: This is an Assistant Project Manager role that would suit a recent graduate or someone with a construction background. The role requires a level of autonomous work alongside travel throughout London. Candidates will have to travel to various sites located around the city. Work with the build teams to Implement and assist in ensuring Workplace Health and Safety regulations are enforced on all sites The role requires a high level of reporting and report management. Accurate and prompt record keeping (task and financial) is an essential part of this role and to assist the project manager in its reporting functions on a daily basis. Assist in interpreting and understanding construction programmes, drawings and technical specifications set out by Engineers, Surveyors and Architects. Assist in liaising with site foreperson to ensure the use and installation of correct materials on site. Role details: Salary: £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience The role includes a car and phone to facilitate communication and travel to and from sites. The role reports to the Senior Project Manager and the Managing Director. It also coordinates with the office administration, Architect alongside build teams and clients. We are seeking someone with a good eye for detail and someone who is keen to learn and grow in a new role.
