Overview

This highly successful FTSE 250 Property Management company based in central London is looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to work within the Group Reporting function as Group Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager you will be heavily involved with the quarterly financial reporting process and responsible for assisting with the preparation of the Groups Statutory Accounts. Key Tasks Production of the Group's financial accounts ensuring compliance with the relevant reporting standards, for submission to stakeholders - Joint Venture Partners, Company Secretariat, Compliance and Bankers on an annual, quarterly, and bi-annual basis as applicable Assistance with quarterly consolidation, press release and other Group Reporting led projects Developing a detailed understanding and knowledge of the Group structure, including agreements and contracts applicable to entities Taking ownership of legal entity TB’s. Regular monitoring and review to ensure costs and revenues have been correctly allocated Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion and approval of statutory accounts Management of external audit requirements in respect of the annual entity audits of the Groups subsidiarie Working closely with the Head of Group Reporting to ensure changes in accounting policies and applicable standards are understood and implemented Supporting wider finance teams allowing them to meet their financial reporting requirements Providing leadership and support to third party suppliers of financial information and review of information received Providing effective analytical review and understanding of key transactions at the entity level Prior experience compiling financial statements and exposure to IFRS are essential as well as advanced Excel skills. A background in Property would be advantageous as would recent experience of FRS101 and consolidations. The ideal Candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (1 years PQE minimum) who displays credibility, professionalism and good initiative. You should be used to working in results-orientated and performance driven environment with a focus in excellence, and possess good planning skills, whilst demonstrating a diligent and reliable nature. This role would suit a highly organised individual, looking to progress their career in a FTSE 250 company with excellent Career path available. This is a permanent role paying £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
