Overview
We have an exciting and unique opportunity to join a Global business in their stunning Cheltenham based offices in a Team Leader function. This role would suit someone with existing Insurance experience i.e. processing or claims and someone qualified to CII level. The successful candidate will be driven to achieve positive outcomes and develop and build teams. You will have the desire and ability to lead people and plan workloads. Team Leaders will have responsibility for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of a team, setting priorities and ensuring team members meet their objectives and tasks whilst balancing their own technical case-load. Team Leaders will have the skills and knowledge required for a Technician Expert level or above and who consider that they have the potential to lead and are committed to personal and professional development, both of themselves and their team. Your responsibilities: Resource Management - coordinates work activities by assessing workloads and setting team priorities, working as one team. People management - Acts as the first line manager and primary contact for the team, striving for excellence at all times Customer Service - Continually review the service provided to internal and external customers to ensure the team meets its Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and identifies recommendations for improvement, always doing the right thing. Your skills & knowledge: Have a technical insurance skills and knowledge Proven people management experience Has the potential to lead and who are committed to personal and professional development, both of themselves and their teams Ability to monitor and co-ordinate team and team leader workflow Attainment of CII Certificate You’ll be good at: Accurate Data & Management Information Communicating and Influencing Customer Focus Decision Making Information Seeking Planning and Organising Relationship Building Managing and improving Performance Individual and team development In addition to an excellent salary the role offers one of the best benefits packages locally.
