Customer Service Advisor, start ASAP, St. Mellons Cardiff, Mon-Fri 37 hours, 8.30am-4.30pm/9am-5pm £11.24p/h Your new company A multi-award winning, nationally recognised utilities company based in St. Mellons , Cardiff. Your new role Working in a busy front-line customer service role, you will be responsible for interfacing with both personal and business customers via telephone, email, web chat and post (multi-channel) Job Duties 1. Answering customer queries on Waste and Clean water connections. 2. Providing the initial customer interface via the various channels (telephone, internet & post) using corporate systems. 3. Processing connection applications for water & sewerage services, including instigating, tracking and closing-out the relevant job in line with our commitments to the customer. 4. Liaising with Land Agents/Minor Works/Operational staff. 5. Providing standard documentation and application packs to our customers. 6. Undertaking Drainage & Water searches for property conveyance purposes. 7. Ensuring the relevant charges for our services are captured and quoted correctly. 8. Support administrative services to the wider team. 9. Undertaking any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business. What you'll need to succeed You will have first-class customer service and communication skills, you will be able to speak to people at all levels and be comfortable communicating via telephone, email and webchat. This role is initially expected to last until end of March, with a strong chance of extension beyond this point. You will be able to prioritise your work and follow processes with regards to responding to queries. You will have strong attention to detail and be able to write clear, concise grammatically correct correspondence to customers when required. What you'll get in return You will get the opportunity to work for one of Wales' leading organisations, this is a temporary role to start immediately. Hourly rate is £11.24 per hour. Hours of work are 37 per work, Monday to Friday, there are 2 shift patterns, week 1 - Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm, week 2 - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. There is an immediate start available for the successful candidate. The role is expected to last until December 2020, with a possible extension for the right candidate.
