Overview
Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Income and Collection Officer to work in Waltham Forest. These positions are initially for 3 months and will be paying £20.95 per hour via an umbrella company. The role: To undertake a full range of debt recovery and management processes that enable residents and customers to efficiently and effectively reduce their level of arrears. To adopt an approach that engages with customers through efficient but flexible working and promote the timely payment of rents, invoices and other monies owed to LBWF . Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with internal and / or external customers/ service users. Act as point of contact for the service. Provide information and resolve problems, within scope of role, escalating to Line Manager as required. Organise and maintain records and documents using the appropriate council process / system. To work with colleagues and team leaders to identify areas for improvement, ensuring the support offer remains appropriate for all service users. Carry out all duties and responsibilities with reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others and report any potential hazards or unsafe practices to line manager. To ensure that the requirements or the Data Protection Act are met Act in accordance with all policies and procedures which apply to the job and understand the reasons for this. Database maintenance - access and update relevant databases and generate reports for management information. Create document, reports, correspondence from the information provided, using standard formats and software Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: N/A. Experience: 2 years working within a similar role. Compliance: Current DBS check. Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently. Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
